Hugo's is a nice Peruvian restaurant with really large portions and pleasant outdoor seating. The outdoor area is enjoyable, but beware--if you see most people sitting inside, the service outside tends to suffer. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the best attention while dining outdoors. Also, double-check your receipts. I was double charged, and after talking to a few others, I've realized this seems to be a recurring issue, which is frustrating and definitely not right. The staff seemed annoyed when I politely asked for extra green sauce and corn nuts--honestly, that's the least you can do to ensure a good dining experience. Hugo's has potential, but they need to step up their service and billing practices.

I had Hugo's with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon. It was fairly quiet. We were sat right away, the staff was kind. We ordered 2 waters, arroz chufa and 2 quarter chicken combo which came with fries and salad. Food came out fairly quickly, it was tasteful and the green sauce was made perfectly. We enjoy everything just thought it was odd the server made a tip comment on our receipt. I cant help but feel they did this because who we are

Good food, the anticucho, sorry if I spelled it wrong, is great. The ceviche is delicious. The service is good, you have to go with someone that speaks Spanish to understand and communicate well. Nice location , they renovated the restaurant.

Had a friend's night and got Hugo's for takeout. We had Steak, shrimp fried rice, rotisserie chicken, and fried fish. The shrimp fried rice was amazing. It wasn't overly salty and the dish was seasoned very well. The chicken was pretty decent. The steak was one of my favorites as well. It was tender, seasoned great, and went well with the shrimp fried rice. The fried fish wasn't a fan favorite, however. I would come back and dine in because I was advised that the inside just was redone.

If you are in the mood for Peruvian food look no further. The entrance to the restaurant is in the back of the building you can use the side alley way to get there. They have a very nice outside section, however couldn't eat there, there was no space for my party of 6. Let me tell you, you will not leave here hungry in fact you might have lunch for two days. Lol! I have boys so you know they can eat they couldn't even finish their plate. Each dish we had was fresh, tasty, and piping hot. Our waitress was very accommodating as well. I will definitely be back!!!

I was in the mood for Peruvian food and decided to stop by this spot. I ordered the Tallarin saltado de pollo over the phone and the man said it would take 30 minutes. When I arrived I had to park illegally because parking isn't great in the area. I walked in and was greeted. I told the man my name and he said it wasn't ready yet. I waited about another 10 minutes or so and paid about $14 for a large tray. When I got home I dug in and the meal was good. It was seasoned so well and there was plenty. I had a good experience.
